Co-led by ace guitarist Phil Robson and leading British saxophonist
Julian Siegel, Partisans have been thrilling audiences with their
energetic performances.
One of the first of the new wave of UK jazz bands to be influenced
as much by Jimi Hendrix as by Miles Davis or Sonny Rollins,
the band has been instrumental in the revitalisation of
the UK jazz scene in recent years.

Expect some of Mike's original tunes as well as carefully crafted standards and
non-standards, by such influences as Michel Petrucciani, Keith Jarrett and EST
as well as Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock etc.
The Cardiff Jazz Society wishes to thank the
Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama
for providing facilities for practise sessions.
