The Cardiff Jazz Society Committee
currently consists of
Andrew Powell (chairman),
Richard Hoad (treasurer),
Peter Howe (secretary)
and two other members.
The committee meet every two months.
The programme for October and November
will be decided at the next meeting
on the 9th August 2010.
The meeting will start
shortly after the close of the AGM.

The AGM
If you are a member of the Cardiff Jazz Society we will be sending you a personal invitation to attend the Annual General Meeting and take part in the election of the new committee. After serving as chairman for almost ten years Andrew Powell will be standing down at the AGM. He will be greatly missed by us and all those in the wider jazz community who know him. Because we will have to elect a new chairman it is important that every member should be able to express their views and take part in the election.
Please consider joining the committee. We will need to increase the size of the committee so that a wide range of views are expressed. An interest in shaping the future of jazz in Cardiff is the only requirement.

The Annual General Meeting will be held at 7:30pm on 9th August 2010, in the Sandringham Hotel, St.Mary Street, Cardiff.
