THE NEW GENERATION
 

 

“The New Generation” of jazz musicians from South Wales is presented by Cardiff Jazz Society, at Café Jazz, on Thursday 29 July (8.45pm).

Following success with its jazz course in previous years, Cardiff Jazz Society is again providing an educational project that will enable young people of school/college age, to improve their musical ability with experienced professional musicians in public performance.

Tutors
Dick Hamer (reeds), Paula Gardiner (bass), Gareth Roberts (brass),
Paul Jones (piano) and Mark O’Connor (drums) will guide the students through two days of practise before appearing in public at Café Jazz.

The Cardiff Jazz Society wishes to thank the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama for providing facilities for practise sessions.
