8:45pmTHE LEWIS CREAVEN BAND Formed in Bristol with some of the best musical talent around, the Lewis Creaven Band have gained a reputation as one of the hardest working bands on the scene, thanks to their non-stop gigging schedule and widespread popularity. The live show features cassics from artists such as Steve Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Robben Ford, Lenny Kravitz, Bad Company and many others, alldone in a unique style and finesse.

This session has been home to many of South Wales's finest musicians and enthusiastic amateurs for over sixteen years.
Jazz Attic offers the chance to all budding musicians to 'sit in' with the talented house trio.
All instruments and singers are welcome.
Anyone who arrives early enough is given the chance to play.

9:00pm HEAVY QUARTET A staple of the South Wales jazz scene since their formation in 1983, their musical irreverance and eclecticism have endeared them to audiences far and wide.


Although their roots are in jazz and the focus is on original compositions, the eight piece 'Quartet' plays jazz with a twist, taking the jazz tradition and mixing it up with rock, funk, reggae, blues, ska and any other musical style they can lay their hands on.

Colum Regan's first solo album went to the top 5 of online download charts and one of his songs is covered by Charlotte Church on her latest album. He has performed all over the USA, UK and Ireland, and has supported some major acts including Richie Havens, Robyn Hitchcock, Seth Lakeman,Tom Baxter and many others.


Colum is launching his new album 'Hotel' which incorporates elements of folk, jazz and world music, using some of Wales's best acoustic musicians, including Lawson Dando of The Incedible String Band.
